Job summary

Kyndryl in the Netherlands is looking for a Platform Engineer to evolve our Internal Developer Platform (IDP) with a strong focus on self-service infrastructure, reusable patterns and engineering enablement.

You will design and implement platform patterns, automate provisioning, and collaborate with platform and infra teams to scale governance and automation.

Qualifications

• Hands-on infrastructure engineer with IDP and Azure expertise.

• Design and implement reusable infrastructure patterns, golden paths and self-service capabilities for application teams.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with Backstage, including Software Catalog, templates, scaffolding and platform integrations.
• Build self‑service infrastructure capabilities that enable teams to provision and manage cloud resources through standardized platform patterns.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Terraform, Bicep, Azure, Kubernetes and CI/CD for infrastructure development and automation.
• Develop reusable Infrastructure-as-Code modules, blueprints and platform components with appropriate governance and guardrails.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, lifecycle management and operational processes.
• Establish standardized platform patterns and reference architectures that can be consumed through the IDP.
• Work closely with platform and infrastructure teams to convert common infrastructure requirements into scalable, automated self‑service capabilities.
