Schuberg Philis is seeking a Platform Engineer - Backup & Recovery to own the lifecycle of data protection environments. You will enhance resilience, automate operations, and drive secure, compliant recovery capabilities across private and public clouds.

Qualifications

• Passion for data protection, security, and resilience.
• Hands-on experience in data management/protection environments.
• Experience with Commvault and/or Rubrik is highly desirable.
• Comfort in highly secure, complex environments.
• Proficiency with Linux and/or Windows.
• Experience across private and public clouds; IaC is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage complex data recovery platforms, leveraging Commvault.
• Ensure platform availability and high customer satisfaction.
• Support and evolve storage back-ends including cloud and on-prem S3-compatible solutions.
• Collaborate with vendor product teams to improve offerings.
• Help customers protect workloads across VMware, OpenStack, AWS, Azure, Kubernetes.
• Deliver end-to-end features and automate platform operations.
• Provide hands-on advisory, contribute to RFIs/RFPs, and design new solutions.
