Digital Green B.V. is seeking a Senior Backend / Platform Engineer in Amsterdam to own core live payments infrastructure and shape the technical foundation of a fintech platform. You will work on backend services, cloud security and developer tooling to accelerate delivery and reliability.

The role emphasizes hands-on implementation, scalable architecture and collaboration across an international team in Amsterdam and London, with hybrid work options.

Formación

• Strong experience in backend engineering, ideally with TypeScript and PostgreSQL.
• Proven experience with CI/CD, cloud infrastructure and production environments.
• Hands-on experience with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices, including observability, incident management and production reliability.
• Experience taking ownership of deployments, monitoring and incident response.
• A solid understanding of security principles and building reliable systems.
• Familiarity with managed cloud services and infrastructure automation.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools.
• A pragmatic, independent engineer who enjoys technical ownership and solving complex problems.
• Experience with Deno, edge functions, developer tooling or security-sensitive environments is a plus.

For a fast-growing fintech startup in Amsterdam, we are looking for a Senior Backend / Platform Engineer who enjoys building reliable systems, improving developer experience and taking ownership of technical projects. You'll work on a live payments platform, helping build and improve the technical foundation that allows the engineering team to develop, deploy and operate software faster and more securely. This is a hands-on role combining backend development, cloud infrastructure, security and platform engineering.
