Job summary

Ambassadors Lab in Amsterdam is seeking a Platform Developer to join a small, autonomous team. The role blends product development with platform work, including CI/CD, deployment infrastructure, and operations on a managed Kubernetes setup.

Qualifications

Ambassadors Lab is looking for a full-time Platform Developer based in (or around) Amsterdam, with a desired start date of 1 September 2026.

About Ambassadors Lab

Ambassadors Lab is a team of technology enthusiasts working on new products that change how the creative advertising industry works. We offer several products in different stages of maturity:

• Cube – our flagship SaaS platform for digital asset management, creative collaboration, and creative automation. It’s used by leading brands and agencies including Booking.com, Make, and Bitvavo.
• Mosa – our take on an agentic workflow builder. Comparable to tools like n8n, but tailored for the creative industry, with ambition to grow into a more general-purpose agentic workflow platform.
• Vocoda – our speech synthesis solution, offered as a standalone product and also used in combination with our creative automation offerings in Cube and Mosa.
  

About the role

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, self-reliant colleague to help us build and operate these products. Your work will be split roughly 50/50 between development on our products, alongside the rest of the team, and platform work: CI/CD, deployment infrastructure, and operations on our managed Kubernetes setup (Scaleway Kapsule). Since we run on managed cloud, the platform side of the role focuses on deployment, tooling, and operations, rather than low-level cluster or hardware work.

We’re a closely knit team where everyone has a large degree of freedom to work independently and provide feedback. We help each other out, share responsibilities across products, and occasionally pitch in on smaller projects elsewhere in the Lab when technical breadth is useful.

About you

We think you’ll thrive in this role if you:

• Have 3+ years of experience combining software development with platform or infrastructure work (or a backend role where you took ownership of how things ran in production)
• Have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience
• You write code in Go and Python, and you’re comfortable contributing to a real product codebase
• Have hands-on Kubernetes experience (ideally managed: Scaleway, GKE, EKS, AKS, or similar), and you’re fluent with Helm, CI/CD pipelines, and GitOps via Argo CD or similar, with an Infrastructure-as-Code mindset
• Care about security, particularly the operational side: keeping systems and dependencies up to date, watching for vulnerabilities, and working with a secure-by-default mindset
• Enjoy switching between feature work and platform work proactive, communicate clearly, and like working in a small team
• Have strong English language skills, written and spoken; Dutch is a plus
• Are based in the Netherlands and able to work from the Amsterdam office ~2 days per week
