Job summary

SIRE LIFE SCIENCES in the Netherlands is seeking an Operations Controller to partner with plant management, translating financial and operational data into clear insights to improve cost control, efficiency and overall performance. You will drive standard costing, margin performance and variance analyses, support ERP improvements, and contribute to cross-site improvements and group initiatives.

This on-site role requires SAP experience and the ability to start quickly, influencing stakeholders

Qualifications

• Experience in plant/operations controlling or finance business partnering in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of standard costing, margin control, and variance analysis.
• Experience working with operational KPIs and influencing stakeholders.
• SAP experience is required.
• On-site role with fast-start capability.

Responsibilities

• Partner with plant management and operational stakeholders as the finance point of contact.
• Analyze and steer operational KPIs (productivity, efficiency, yield, and cost).
• Maintain and improve standard costing and margin performance.
• Perform variance analyses (volume, mix, price, efficiency) and drive follow-up actions.
• Support and challenge CapEx proposals and business cases.
• Contribute to ERP-related projects and process standardization across operations.
• Identify improvement opportunities and support group-wide performance initiatives.
