Job summary

Trivium Packaging in Deventer is seeking a Plant Controller to join our manufacturing site and partner with local leadership. You will lead monthly financial reporting, cost analysis, budgeting, and forecasting to drive profitability and informed decision-making.

This hands-on role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, about 10 years of finance experience in manufacturing, strong cost accounting knowledge, ERP experience, and excellent communication with stakeholders across levels.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Approximately 10 years of professional finance experience.
Proven experience in a manufacturing environment with a strong cost accounting background.
Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel capabilities.
Strong analytical and business partnering skills.

Responsibilities

Lead monthly financial reporting and management accounting activities.
Support plant leadership with cost analysis, profitability insights, and decision-making tools.
Drive forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning processes.
Monitor manufacturing costs and identify opportunities for operational improvement.
Perform variance analyses and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
Manage inventory accounting, fixed assets, and internal controls.
Support capital investment projects through ROI analysis and expenditure tracking.
Lead cost reduction initiatives and help improve overall site performance.
Ensure accurate and timely submission of budgets, forecasts, KPIs, and financial reports.
