Job summary

JP Gray is seeking a Plant Controller for an international food manufacturing site in the Netherlands. You will act as the financial lead for the production site, providing insights, maintaining controls, and supporting operational decision-making.

Responsibilities include financial analysis, performance reporting, budgeting support, inventory control, and collaborating with site leadership to drive cost efficiency and margin improvements.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in Finance, Controlling, or Accounting.
• Manufacturing experience is essential.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Experience with inventory accounting and operational finance.
• Experience working with SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Fluent English; Dutch is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Deliver financial analysis, performance reporting, budgeting support, inventory control, and operational insights.
• Collaborate with finance and operations to improve business performance and support strategic decisions.
• Prepare and analyze weekly and monthly site performance reports and KPIs.
• Support the annual budgeting process and regular forecasts.
