Job summary

John Sisk and Son is recruiting a Planner for its life science team in the Netherlands, supporting the project lead senior planner on a framework of pharmaceutical sector projects that range from minor upgrades through substantial refurbishments to new build.

The post is responsible for on site planning and reporting, and for preparing internal and external progress reports and project dashboards covering design, procurement and construction, supported by trade key performance indicators.

Qualifications

• Competence in baselining programmes and preparing rescheduled progress reports.
• Ability to analyse critical path and float near critical in NEC contracts.
• Prepare short term look ahead programmes and communicate targets to production teams.
• Review and track programmes, KPIs, and subcontractor submissions; identify risks and mitigations.

John Sisk and Son is recruiting a Planner for its life science team in the Netherlands, supporting the project lead senior planner on a framework of pharmaceutical sector projects that range from minor upgrades through substantial refurbishments to new build.

The post is responsible for on site planning and reporting, and for preparing internal and external progress reports and project dashboards covering:

• design
• procurement and construction
• supported by trade key performance indicators

The advert asks for competence in baselining programmes and in preparing rescheduled progress reports with analysis of the critical path and of the float paths near critical, in an NEC contract environment. Planned against actual production curves are prepared where they help explain site progress.

The holder prepares short term look ahead programmes, communicates upcoming targets to the production team and prompts the delivery team on pending milestone dates.

Other duties are reviewing programmes, outputs and phasing with the senior planner and site delivery team, developing tracking schedules for key performance indicators, managing subcontractor programme submissions, identifying programme risks and mitigation for agreement with the project team, collating benchmark data for the divisional senior planning manager, and contributing to baseline programmes and to the impact of change and variations.
