Job summary

Citi in Amsterdam seeks a Placement Analyst to join the Corporate Banking team for a 3–6 month period. The start date is between January and June. You will work on accounting analyses, risk assessment, and deal structuring alongside partners across Citi groups.

We welcome penultimate or final-year students with strong academics and an interest in finance. Dutch language is a plus but not required; international exposure is valued.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in penultimate or final year of university.
• Strong academic record.
• Interest in corporate banking or financial services.

Responsibilities

• Conduct accounting and financial statement analysis, cash flow modelling, and capital markets analysis.
• Complete fundamental risk and credit analysis.
• Liaise with product partners.
• Assist in the presentation and development of new ideas to clients.
• Structure deals.
