Job summary

Citi in Amsterdam seeks a Placement Analyst to join the Corporate Banking team for a 3–6 month period. The start date is between January and June. You will work on accounting analyses, risk assessment, and deal structuring alongside partners across Citi groups.

We welcome penultimate or final-year students with strong academics and an interest in finance. Dutch language is a plus but not required; international exposure is valued.

Citi is looking for a Placement Analyst to join the Corporate Banking team in Amsterdam for a three‑ to six‑month period. The desired start date will be between January and June.

Corporate Bankers are relationship-focused finance professionals responsible for understanding the wide range of complex financial issues facing our clients around the world. As a Corporate Banker, you will drive the client dialogue on capital structure, liability management, liquidity and funding strategies, risk management, and investment solutions.

Unique to Citi, Corporate Bankers are also responsible for deciding where to invest the firm's capital and executing on those investments. Corporate Bankers work in partnership with various Citi groups across the firm including Risk Management, Investment Banking, and the Capital Markets Origination. If none of these terms make sense right now, that’s ok! Our placement is designed to help you increase your knowledge, so whatever your degree is in we will give you the training and support you need to excel.

We provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to succeed. We're committed to teaching you the ropes. For the duration of the internship, you will be placed with the Corporate Banking team in Amsterdam.

Your time here will look something like this...

• You are in your penultimate/final year of university and pursuing a degree in any discipline
• Strong academics
• Fluent Dutch speakers would be a preference but is not a prerequisite

Please note that the salary ranges are not reflecting correctly. The intern salary range for this position is 27,000 EUR per annum. The Fulltime salary range is 90,000- 115,000 EUR per annum.
