Citi is offering a placement Analyst position in Amsterdam within the Investment Banking team, designed for up to six months starting January 2027. Ideal candidates are in their final year or recent graduates with a 2:1 or Grade 7 or higher, strong academic records, and fluency in English and Dutch.

Qualifications

• Currently in your final year of university studies or a recent graduate.
• Expected to achieve, or have already achieved, a 2:1 (or equivalent academic standing) at the undergraduate level.
• Fluency in English and Dutch is essential, with strong verbal and written communication in both languages.
• Strong academic record indicating intellectual capability and dedication.

Responsibilities

• Diligently collect and analyse company information to support transaction execution and perform in-depth industry research.
• Perform detailed financial data analysis and develop financial models, including valuations and DCF analyses.
• Create compelling new business development presentations communicating strategic insights and proposals.
• Coordinate tasks with internal teams and external groups to ensure timely delivery.
• Prepare internal documentation ensuring compliance and regulatory alignment.
