Job summary

Tecwave B.V. in Rotterdam is seeking a Piping Engineer to design, calculate, and optimize piping networks for industrial projects.

You will work with fellow engineers to ensure compliance with standards, support construction and commissioning on-site, and develop technical documentation while seeking cost-effective, safe solutions. The role requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, at least 3 years in hardware engineering, and proficiency with CAD software.

Qualifications

• A completed bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar technical field.
• At least 3 years of experience in hardware engineering, preferably in an industrial environment.
• Experience with CAD software for designing hardware components.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and detail-oriented.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented work attitude.
• Full-time availability and willingness to work on-site when required.

Responsibilities

• Designing, calculating, and specifying piping systems for industrial installations, in compliance with national and international standards and regulations.
• Conducting stress tests and analyses to ensure the durability and safety of the design.
• Creating and managing technical documentation, including design drawings, material specifications, and layouts.
• Collaborating with the project team and suppliers to ensure the feasibility of designs and provide technical solutions.
• Supervising and supporting the installation and commissioning of piping systems on-site.
• Identifying and implementing improvements in processes and procedures within the department.

Job Description
As a Piping Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, calculating, and optimizing piping networks within various industrial projects.
