Job summary

Arvato is seeking a Customs Declarant for a brand-new location in Echt. You will help establish and optimize import, export and transit processes, ensuring compliance with customs regulations in a dynamic logistics campus environment.

You will work closely with internal teams and external partners, handling declarations, data verification and process improvements while supporting inspections and audits. A proactive, accurate mindset and English proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

MBO+ or HBO level education.
Experience in customs or international logistics is a plus.
Good MS Office knowledge.
Strong English language skills.
Accurate and proactive in an international setting.

Responsibilities

Prepare, process and verify import, export and transit customs declarations.
Monitor customs processes and ensure all documentation complies with current legislation.
Collect and validate data required for customs declarations.
Identify discrepancies and coordinate solutions with stakeholders.
Support customs inspections, physical checks and audits.
Maintain contact with customs authorities, carriers, customers and internal departments.
Contribute to continuous improvement of customs processes.
