Job summary

Levy Global is seeking a hands-on Python Backend Engineer in Amsterdam to help build scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions. You will develop robust APIs and contribute to data-driven initiatives within a Data & AI environment.

The role emphasizes Python, FastAPI, REST API development, and a solid understanding of Data Governance and data platform support while collaborating across international teams.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Proven hands-on experience with Python, FastAPI and REST API development.
• Experience building reliable, scalable and secure backend services.
• Understanding of Data Engineering concepts and practices.
• Experience with Data Governance or Data Catalog tools is a plus.

• A good understanding of Data Engineering concepts and practices.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, Data Governance, Metadata Management or Data Catalog solutions is a plus.
