SAP SE is seeking an Area Security Manager – BeNeLux to own physical security across Belgium, Netherlands, and Luxembourg. You will lead contracted security teams, maintain access control and CCTV systems, manage incidents, and deliver security projects across three countries.

The role requires expertise in GDPR, BeNeLux regulations, and data centre environments, with travel 10–20% within BeNeLux. Fluency in English is essential; Dutch and/or French are a plus.

Job Description

Area Security Manager – BeNeLux

Global Physical Security | SAP | Belgium, Netherlands & Luxembourg

Candidates must already have or be eligible for Netherlands national security clearance

What you'll build

You'll own physical security across SAP's Belgium, Netherlands, and Luxembourg locations — offices, labs, events and a heavy focus on Data Centres. Day to day, you'll lead contracted security teams, keep electronic systems (access control, CCTV, intruder detection) running reliably, manage incidents, and drive security improvement projects. Your work directly protects SAP's people, assets, and operations across three countries.

What you bring

• Already in possession of /be eligiblefor Netherlands national security clearance
• Five plus years experience in physical security, policing, or the armed forces — with at least three years in a corporate environment
• Demonstrated skills in security risk assessment, incident management, and guarding contract oversight
• Hands-on experience with electronic security systems and end-to-end security project delivery
• Fluent English (written and spoken); Dutch and/or French is a significant advantage
• Sound knowledge of GDPR and BeNeLux security regulations, including data centre environments
