Are you ready to take full technical ownership as a Senior Developer and modernize a traditional industry? Do you want to elevate a complex back‑office system that processes millions in invoice flows using modern PHP and Laravel?

My client is an established player in the Dutch construction and infrastructure sector. They automate complex procurement processes, invoice flows, and contract calculations for major players in the field. The tech team is small and agile, one Developer and a PO. You will become the second, crucial link. The tech stack is modern: latest PHP and Laravel, running on Laravel Forge with GitHub Actions for CI/CD.

Your role:

As Senior PHP Developer, you'll have end‑to‑end responsibility for developing the central platform. You'll work closely with your colleague and PO to translate business requirements into robust code. You'll manage and extend the existing system (recently rebuilt) and build new products like a price comparison tool and invoice control system. You'll have freedom to make technical decisions and leave your mark on the architecture.

Your profile:

• 5+ years of experience in software development
• Minimum 2+ years of professional experience with PHP
• Demonstrable experience with Laravel (version 9+ preferred)
• Experience with cloud technology (AWS) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
• Fluent in Dutch - essential for communication within the company
• Willing to work at the Amsterdam office at least 3 days per week
• Base salary up to €80,000 annually
• 8% holiday allowance
• Hybrid working (minimum 3 days in office)
