Job summary

University of Amsterdam seeks a candidate with an MSc in CS, AI or a closely related field to contribute to research on transparency and accountability in GenAI inference and AI regulatory compliance-by-design. The role involves critical analysis of abstract models and their concrete implementations, and active participation in team projects within the Complex Cyber Infrastructure group.

The successful applicant will study research papers, craft thoughtful evaluations, and disseminate findings

Qualifications

• MSc in CS, AI or related field required or in progress.
• Strong interest in finance and financial services is a plus.
• Enthusiasm for the research process: reading papers, solving problems, applying creative thinking, evaluating and disseminating findings.

Responsibilities

• Study research papers and current literature.
• Solve complex problems and contribute to ongoing GenAI research projects.
• Present findings via writing and oral presentations, both individually and in team settings.
