Job summary

Delft University of Technology in Delft invites applications for a PhD position in Multiscale Modelling of Sorption-Enhanced CO2 Hydrogenation Reactors within the CO2URAGE programme. Qualifications

  • MSc in Mechanical engineering, Chemical engineering, Applied physics, or related field.
  • Knowledge and experience with reactor modeling and multiphase CFD simulations.
  • Strong analytical mindset and curiosity about results.

Responsibilities

  • Develop 3D models to predict hydrodynamics and heat/mass transfer in reactors.
  • Collaborate with TU Delft, TNO and industry partners for validation.
  • Explore electrically heated reactor concepts and alternative heating methods.
