Job summary

Amsterdam UMC Research BV invites applications for a four-year PhD project focusing on mixed neuropathologies in Alzheimer’s disease. You will work with human brain tissue, iPSC-derived neural cultures and advanced molecular techniques to uncover disease mechanisms.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in neuroscience, biomedical sciences, biology or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform cutting-edge transcriptomic analyses.
• Work with iPSC-based neural cultures and develop disease models.
• Use human autopsy brain tissue to study Alzheimer’s disease.
• Study biological mechanisms and identify potential therapeutic targets.
