Job summary

Delft University of Technology invites applications for a PhD position in Data-Driven Distributed Game Theory within the ERC-funded ARGON project. You will develop distributed computational methods for game-theoretic control and optimization to address challenges in large-scale multi-agent systems, including energy grids and autonomous mobility.

The role combines theory, computation and potential teaching activities.

Qualifications

• MSc degree in a relevant field (or near completion).
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Experience or strong affinity for Systems and Control, Optimization or Game Theory.
• Excellent command of English; Dutch not required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze the complexity of structured distributed game equilibrium problems.
• Develop data-driven decomposition methods for these problems.
• Develop fast, scalable computational methods for game equilibrium problems.
• Create an open-source toolbox for dynamic game equilibrium problems.
• Teaching activities may be part of the PhD trajectory.
