Job summary

Prothya Biosolutions Netherlands B.V. seeks a Pharmaceutical QC Analyst to perform microbiological and chemical testing of materials, in-process and finished products.

You will document results in GDP/GMP-compliant records and support investigations and continuous improvement within the QC lab. The role requires a MLO or Bachelor’s degree in relevant sciences, 3+ years in pharma labs, strong data-analysis skills, and proficiency with SAP and Empower.

Qualifications

• MLO or Bachelor’s degree in microbiology, analytical chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a pharmaceutical laboratory, preferably GMP-regulated.
• Knowledge of microbiological and chemical testing techniques.
• Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation using laboratory software (e.g., SAP and Empower).
• Attention to detail, organization, and ability to work in a regulated environment.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine chemical analyses and microbiological testing of raw materials, in-process samples and finished products.
• Document all laboratory testing activities in compliance with GDP and GMP.
• Interpret data and report deviations and assist in investigations and root cause analyses.
• Calibrate, qualify, and maintain QC laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Collaborate with QA, Manufacturing, Product Support and Production to support release and investigations.
• Assist in the development, optimization and validation of QC methods and procedures.
