Job summary

Prothya Biosolutions Netherlands B.V. is seeking a Supervisor QC Operations EM UM to lead environmental and utility sampling and reporting, ensuring GMP compliance in the manufacturing of pharmaceutical products.

You will manage EM UM staff, drive timely sampling, maintain instruments, and collaborate with QA, Manufacturing, and Production to support product releases and investigations. This role requires on-site work and strong leadership in a QC environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level knowledge in pharmacy, microbiology, or chemistry.
• 5+ years of people leadership and performance management in a QC environment.
• Solid knowledge about EM UM is highly beneficial.
• Strong affinity with manufacturing and GMP guidelines.
• Experience with monthly and quarterly reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage EM UM sample staff and officers, including performance feedback, reviews, and disciplinary action.
• Ensure sampling and reporting is timely and adheres to quality standards.
• Draft and edit SOPs as needed.
• Maintain instrumentation maintenance and calibration.
• Collaborate with QA, Manufacturing, Product Support and Production to support release and investigations.
• Develop, optimize, and validate EM UM methods for robustness and reproducibility.
• Apply GxP requirements to activities and follow SOPs and ISO/EP standards.
• Review paperwork for compliance.
• Trend and troubleshoot microbiology issues.
• Lead continuous improvement and conduct periodic department meetings.
• Resolve technical problems and provide orientation and training.
