Job summary

Capgemini Engineering in the Netherlands is seeking a Project Manager for Industrial Automation in Utrecht. You will own end-to-end automation projects in a highly regulated pharma environment, leading a diverse team of ~30 professionals across Bioreactors, Utilities, and Building Management Systems.

You will work with Siemens PLC, Emerson DeltaV, and Honeywell HC-900, ensuring GMP compliance and robust risk management while coordinating client and internal teams to meet scope, time, and budget.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years in a dedicated Project Management role with a PM cert (PMP or equivalent).
• Solid understanding of industrial automation systems and platforms (Siemens PLC, Emerson DeltaV, Honeywell HC-900).
• Experience in regulated pharma/Life Sciences environments with GMP awareness.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of automation projects within scope, time, and budget.
• Manage stakeholders between client automation dept, Capgemini Engineering teams, and contractors.
• Identify and mitigate risks, develop contingency plans to keep projects on track.
• Drive GMP compliance and support validation activities where required.
• Coordinate and motivate cross-functional engineers and specialists.
