Job summary

Invertek Drives is seeking a PCBA Supplier Quality Engineer to join our Welshpool site in the UK. You will manage quality matters for PCB/PCBA suppliers, investigate issues, drive corrective actions and monitor supplier performance.

The role supports new supplier qualification and conducts supplier audits. The ideal candidate has experience in quality or supplier quality roles, strong problem solving, and excellent communication with suppliers and internal teams.

PCBA Supplier Quality Engineer

Description

• Manage all quality-related matters concerning PCB and PCBA suppliers

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Experience in a quality, supplier quality or engineering role
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication skills and the confidence to work directly with suppliers and internal departments
• Good organisational skills with close attention to detail
• Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel
• Experience within PCB, PCBA or electronics manufacturing would be beneficial but is not essential
• Experience of supplier auditing and quality management systems would be beneficial
• Experience with structured problem-solving techniques such as 8D, 5 Why or root cause analysis would be beneficial
• HNC or above in an engineering, electronics or technology discipline would be beneficial
