Job summary

Neways Electronics International in Leeuwarden seeks a PCB Repair Technician to analyse and repair defective PCBs and assemblies, tracing failures to component level and determining effective repair approaches.

You will collaborate with Production, Test Engineering and Engineering to meet high quality standards and drive improvements, while expanding technical expertise through challenging fault investigations on diverse products.

Qualifications

• MBO degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or related field.
• Strong electronics affinity and hands-on experience.
• Troubleshooting electronic failures is an advantage.
• Soldering and repair of electronic components.
• Analytical and detail-oriented mindset.
• Willingness to learn and develop expertise.
• Strong communication and proactive attitude.
• Good command of the Dutch language.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and troubleshoot defects on PCBs and electronic assemblies.
• Repair defective components on PCBs.
• Perform soldering and component-level repair activities.
• Interpret test results and fault reports.
• Collaborate with production and test teams to resolve failures.
• Advise on structural solutions for recurring quality issues.
• Document analyses, findings, and repair activities.
• Support production activities when repair workloads allow.
