COFRA Holding AG seeks an experienced Payroll Specialist for an 8-month maternity cover in Amsterdam. You will run end-to-end payroll processes across Dutch entities, ensure compliance with payroll legislation, and support billing and regulatory reporting while collaborating with HR and Finance colleagues.
You will handle lifecycle changes, time and attendance, and benefits payroll, while improving processes and controls. English fluency is required; Dutch language on top is a plus.
This an 8-month maternity cover position. We are open to candidates interested in either a fixed-term employment contract or a freelance/contractor arrangement.

We are looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our Amsterdam-based team for an 8-month maternity cover assignment.
Working closely with HR, Finance and regulatory authorities, you will be responsible for the end-to-end payroll process across multiple COFRA entities in the Netherlands. You will play a key role in ensuring payroll is delivered accurately, compliantly and efficiently, while contributing to a positive colleague experience.
You will be responsible for managing payroll operations, statutory compliance, payroll reporting and payroll-related stakeholder support.
This is a hands‑on role that combines operational excellence, stakeholder management and continuous improvement. You will ensure smooth payroll delivery while identifying opportunities to strengthen processes, controls and efficiency.
