Job summary

DLL is seeking a part-time Payroll Specialist to execute payroll operations for Ireland and support international payroll activities across the UK. The role collaborates with the payroll vendor, HR, and Finance to ensure compliant and timely processing.

It is a fixed-term position for 1 year, with 20 hours per week, offering hybrid work options. The ideal candidate has strong Ireland payroll experience, familiarity with GDPR, and proficiency in Excel, with optional UK or international payroll

Qualifications

• Well experienced in Ireland payroll and local legislation.
• Experience with UK payroll and/or international payroll operations is a preference.
• Familiar with GDPR and data protection best practices.
• Strong planning, organizational, and results-oriented mindset.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Confidence using Microsoft Excel and a willingness to learn new tools.
• Fluency in English; additional European languages are a strong plus.
• Location UK based.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for Ireland and provide support to payroll across countries, e.g. UK.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure compliance with local statutory requirements.
• Reconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies promptly and professionally.
• Support internal and external audits with accurate documentation and reporting.
• Assist in payroll system upgrades, implementations, and process improvements.
• Provide timely and effective support to employees on payroll-related queries.

• Experience with UK payroll and/or international payroll operations is a preference
• Known to payroll tools of suppliers like ADP.
• Experience working in a complex, international organization.
• Familiarity with GDPR and data protection best practices.
