  • Execute our Dutch payroll in ADP
  • Ensure payroll set up meets company requirements and records are aligned to guidelines

  • Document and maintain payroll processes, procedures, controls and responsibilities, ensuring these remain current as our organisation and systems evolve
  • Support the drafting, implementation and ongoing maintenance of payroll-related policies and guidelines, in close collaboration with HR, Tax and other relevant stakeholders
  • Drive process improvement and automation, actively identifying opportunities to use AI and other technologies to reduce manual work, improve controls and increase the quality and scalability of payroll operations
  • Take ownership of selected automation initiatives from identifying the opportunity through to implementation and ongoing monitoring
  • Be responsible for processing of mutations and resolving discrepancies
  • Process pension subscriptions
  • Provide payroll feedback and data when required to support ongoing HR projects
  • Partner with HR Operations on changes to employee processes that have payroll implications and help ensure these changes are translated into clear and workable processes
  • Provide information to employees, managers and external stakeholders regarding payroll matters, benefit plans and collective agreement provisions
  • Act as a knowledgeable point of contact on payroll processes and help ensure consistent application of payroll-related policies and procedures
  • Support the continuous development of the payroll control framework, including identifying risks, strengthening controls and ensuring appropriate documentation is in place

And together with the payroll manager we expect that you:

  • Work closely with HR Operations to ensure activities, responsibilities and hand-offs between HR and Payroll are clearly defined, efficient and consistently followed
  • Review existing payroll and HR-related processes, identify gaps or inefficiencies and drive improvements
  • Partner with HR Operations on changes to employee processes that have payroll implications and help ensure these changes are translated into clear and workable processes

We expect you to pick things up quickly and demonstrate a strong team spirit. Moreover, you enjoy working with a very diverse group of smart people in a fast-paced environment.

This is a role for someone who enjoys not only running payroll accurately, but also improving how things work. You should be comfortable challenging existing processes, bringing structure where needed and working across Finance and HR to develop better ways of working.

This position will suit an individual who is detail oriented, ‘approachable’ and eager to learn. We are looking for someone who aspires to work in an international, fast growing and informal environment.

Qualifcations
  • MBO level
  • >2 year of relevant working experience in an international environment

  • Comfortable working with high standards in a dynamic and flat organization
  • Approachable, organized and service minded
  • Pragmatic through a strong eye for detail
