Job summary

Vos Logistics is seeking a Payroll Administrator to own the entire payroll process from registration to year-end closing within an international logistics environment. You will ensure compliance with Dutch payroll legislation, provide expert advice, and collaborate with HR and finance to optimize payroll workflows.

We value analytical thinking, accuracy, and curiosity about applying AI in payroll. This role offers 24–28 hours per week and room to develop within a growing European logistics group.

The salaries of approximately 900 colleagues across 13 locations in the Netherlands depend each month on accurate administration. Are you the Payroll Administrator who will take on this responsibility with confidence?

You are part of the HR department and report to the HR Manager. Together with one colleague, you own the entire payroll process, from registration to year-end closing. You both master the entire discipline and divide tasks according to a fixed schedule. This makes you each other's sparring partner and backup, ensuring high quality even during busy periods. For HR, managers and colleagues at our locations, you are the expert. You provide clear advice, even when questions are complex. For pension funds, insurers and government agencies, you are a strong discussion partner. You closely follow developments in legislation and regulations and translate them into what they mean for our organization and our people. You ensure that policies and processes align with these changes. During audits and financial reporting, you substantiate the payroll domain. You look beyond the next payroll run. You see where improvements can be made and contribute to system integrations, digitalization and the use of AI. This way, you help build a payroll administration that is ready for the future. In short: a versatile role in which you combine expertise with advice and innovation. We have your job! Do you have the skills?

• You have an MBO+ or HBO level of education and a Practical Diploma in Payroll Administration (PDL);
• You have at least two years of experience as a payroll administrator or in a comparable financial role and are available for 24-28 hours per week;
• You have knowledge of payroll processing and relevant legislation and regulations;
• You are analytically strong, understand complex issues and make smart use of Excel;
• You work accurately and in a structured manner and handle confidential information with care;
• You communicate easily with colleagues, management and external parties;
• You are curious about AI and see opportunities to apply it in the payroll process.

• A salary between € 3,524.01 and € 5,688.72 gross per month, depending on your knowledge and experience;
