Job summary

CGI Nederland is seeking Payments Business Consultants / Analyst to support its growth on exciting projects in the Financial Services sector. You will engage with client stakeholders, translate needs into requirements, and collaborate with transformation and development teams to deliver effective solutions.

The role requires a Master or Bachelor degree and at least 5 years in payments domains (SEPA, Open Banking, SWIFT, etc.).

Qualifications

• Master or Bachelor degree is required.
• At least 5 years of experience in payments domains such as SEPA Instant Payments, Credit Transfer, Direct Debits, International Payments, Open Banking, SWIFT, Clearing and Settlement, or Request to Pay.
• Strong analytical and consulting skills; eager to learn.
• Sharp eye for details while maintaining big-picture view.
• Self-starter with interpersonal, communication and influencing skills to lead workshops and gather clear client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Engage with client stakeholders and SMEs to understand payments business needs and map them to business strategy.
• Translate business needs into clear requirements for delivery teams.
• Collaborate with transformation and development teams to ensure effective implementation of business needs.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payments developments to act as trusted advisor for clients.

We are currently looking for Payments Business Consultants / Analyst to support its growth and gives you the opportunity to work on exciting projects!

Your future duties and responsibilities

Your day-to-day activities:

• Engage with client stakeholders and SMEs to understand the payments business needs, aligned with their business strategy and market developments
• Translate the needs into requirements
• Engage with the transformation / development teams to ensure the business need is implemented effectively
• Continuously keep your knowledge of key developments in payments up to date to remain an expert of choice and a trusted advisor for our clients
• Support business development activities

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

What you need to be successful in this role :

• Master/Bachelor degree
• At least 5 years of experience in one or more areas of (banking) payments, such as SEPA Instant Payments, Credit Transfer, Direct Debits, International Payments, Open Banking, SWIFT, Clearing and Settlement, Request to Pay
• Strong analytical and consulting skills and eager to learn
• Have a sharp eye for details, while not losing the overall picture
• Self-starter, strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills to facilitate and lead workshops to ensure a robust understanding of business needs and priorities within the project.
• Ability to manage stakeholders and ensure clear client requirements are drawn-out, prioritized and clearly defined/understood by the client and development team
• Experience of Agile software development (Scrum, Kanban, etc) and working as Product Owner
• Documentation – methods and techniques for writing effective business reports, slides and specifications
• Fluent communication skills in English and preferably in Dutch

Working pattern: due to the secure nature of the work we are operating with a hybrid working policy. We would expect our members to be in their local office as and when required. Some travel to other CGI or client sites might be required (all travel away from your base office is expensed)
