CGI Nederland is seeking a Director Consulting Services to drive delivery outcomes in complex banking client environments in the Netherlands. You will lead a team of ~15, balance billable work with business development, and shape service delivery, growth, and talent development within the Banking unit.

You’ll leverage CGI’s global capabilities and partnerships to deliver value, mentor a high-performing team, and influence strategic direction while reporting to the VP Consulting Services.

Qualifications

• Completed HBO or WO education.
• At least 8 years of experience in business development and delivery in business and IT solutions.
• Deep understanding of one or more banking domains (payments, lending, compliance, risk & finance, etc.).
• High-quality network in banking.
• Ability to lead and attract/develop a high-performing team.
• Fluency in Dutch and English.

Your role in our team

As Director Consulting Services (DCS) you are the pivot in the services of CGI. You are a consulting professional with Business & IT services experience and together with your team of +/- 15 colleagues you make the difference in assignments for your customer. In addition to your own billable assignment (roughly 50% of your time), you fulfill a multifaceted role covering business development, employee (partner) management and service delivery to our clients. Prime responsibilities will be driving innovation and growth, and mentoring and developing a high-performing team. You see opportunities and know how to deliver value to your clients, by leveraging the best of CGI’s broad and international portfolio of services, proprietary solutions and external partnerships with leading technology providers. You drive continuous improvement in your team; involving them in the development of new services for your customers, recruitment of new talent, and professional growth. Together with your Vice President Consulting Services (whom you report to) and the DCS colleagues within the unit, you contribute to the growth of the unit and of the Banking sector.

How you strengthen our team

• Deep understanding of one or more specific banking domains is essential (eg. Payments, lending, vendor finance, compliance, risk & finance etc.);
• High-quality network in banking;
• The talent and drive to achieve successful results with a team of highly skilled consultants, as well as attract and develop the talent;
• Fluency in Dutch and English languages.
