Job summary

EW Facility Services is seeking a Cleaner for a school in Rotterdam. You will maintain a clean and hygienic environment, cleaning classrooms, hallways, desks, and furniture, along with toilets and canteen areas to ensure a welcoming setting for students and staff.

Working days are Monday to Friday, with shifts 5:00 PM–8:30 PM, up to 2.5 hours daily. This role suits students or those balancing other commitments, within a fixed-term contract at EW Facility Services.

Qualifications

• You speak Dutch and/or English.
• You are able to work independently.
• You work accurately and have an eye for detail.
• You are reliable and responsible.
• You live in Rotterdam or the surrounding area.

Responsibilities

• Clean classrooms, hallways, and common areas.
• Clean desks, tables, and furniture.

We offer

• Gross hourly wage starting from €15.52, depending on your experience*
• Salary paid every 4 weeks, resulting in 13 payments per year
• Travel allowance of €0.14 per kilometre (from 20 km per day)
• 8% holiday allowance, paid in May
• 10% vacation hours accrual and a 5% year-end bonus
• 26 vacation days based on a full-time contract

Your job

As a Cleaner at this school, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and hygienic environment. Your tasks will include:

• Cleaning classrooms, hallways, and common areas
• Cleaning desks, tables, and furniture
• Maintaining toilets and canteen areas
• Vacuuming, mopping, and caring for floors
• Ensuring a fresh and welcoming environment for students and staff

You take pride in your work, notice what needs to be done, and contribute to a clean and pleasant school every day.

Working Days and Hours

You will work Monday through Friday.

The cleaning activities take place between 5:00 PM and 8:30 PM. Depending on your availability, you will work a maximum of 2.5 hours per day.

This makes the position ideal to combine with studies, family life, another job, or your own business.
