Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development in Rotterdam.

You will assist with daily activities, help customers, and organize merchandise from receiving to sales floor while ensuring seasonal areas are well maintained. This role requires strong communication and teamwork, the ability to train and supervise staff, and a commitment to safety, loss prevention, and accurate record-keeping in a fast-paced retail

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address any questions or concerns they may have.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor as needed.
