Job summary

JD.COM Rotterdam seeks a Packaging & Logistics Equipment Lead to develop the overall strategy and manage the full lifecycle of packaging and equipment, from requirements analysis to phase-out.

You will drive standardization, lightweighting, and cost-reduction for domestic and international markets, collaborating with logistics operations and procurement to optimize solutions and ensure efficiency and safety.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree or above in engineering or related field.
• Minimum five years in packaging planning or logistics operations.
• Experience in large-scale packaging optimization and equipment planning.
• Solid knowledge of packaging design, materials, and cost evaluation.
• Strong data analysis and project management skills; cross-functional coordination.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategy and manage full lifecycle of packaging and logistics equipment and tools.
• Lead packaging standardization, lightweighting, and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Collaborate with procurement on technical evaluations and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Monitor materials and equipment trends, organize pilots and implementation.
• Coordinate projects and cross-functional collaboration to meet cost, efficiency, quality, safety goals.
