Job summary

Just Eat Takeaway.com is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist in our Global Finance Operations. The role focuses on Purchase-to-Pay tasks for the Belgium market, including booking supplier invoices, processing payments and aging reporting.

The successful candidate will support RTR accountants and drive process improvements using Workday, MS Office and Google Suite. A accounting/finance degree and 0–4 years of experience are preferred, plus strong attention to detail and English communication.

Qualifications

• University degree in Accounting/Finance.
• 0–4 years of experience in Finance Operations.
• Understanding of Global Finance Operations practices (Q2C, S2P, Project to Result).
• Proficient in ERP (preferably Workday), MS Suite and Google Suite.
• Strong communication in English and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Book supplier invoices/credit notes in the system.
• Jira ticket management within turnaround time for the assigned entities.
• Ensure suppliers' requests are answered promptly.
• Ensure supplier payments are created on a timely basis.
• Run the Aging Payables Report & Account Certification on time.
• Collaborate with the Senior Support Specialist on Match Exceptions/Invoice Verification.
• Collaborate with Governance Lead -P2P on SOPs/Procedures.
• Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and effectiveness.
• Collaborate and support the Team Lead - P2P with rollout projects/others.
