Job summary

FairPlay Engineering BV seeks an Overhead Line Engineer to design and deliver high‑voltage transmission infrastructure. You will contribute to the expansion and strengthening of the electricity grid while tackling technically challenging projects.

You will join a multidisciplinary team of civil, structural and electrical engineers, delivering engineering analyses, calculations and documentation across design, construction and commissioning stages. English is essential; Dutch preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or related discipline.
• Approximately 3–8 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Experience in design and engineering of overhead transmission lines, steel structures, or related projects.
• Knowledge of structural analysis and calculations for towers, foundations, loads, and conductor sizing.
• Experience preparing technical reports, drawings, and documentation.
• Ability to work well in multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience supporting projects through design, construction and commissioning.
• Willingness to develop further in the power/energy sector.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluency in English; Dutch preferred.
