AAA Global, based in Amsterdam, is seeking an experienced options market-maker/prop trader to own a trading book and drive profitability in a hands-on environment. The role emphasizes autonomy, strategy development, and direct impact on firm results.

You will manage your own book, develop and refine strategies, and work with a team of traders using market data and quantitative analysis to guide decisions. Onsite in Amsterdam and a strong track record are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a trading role, with a background in equity options, crypto options, market making or proprietary trading.
• A demonstrable track record of profitable trading.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to make fast and considered decisions under pressure.
• Strong understanding of options, volatility and/or market-making strategies.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ownership mentality.
• Competitive, driven and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

Location: Amsterdam, with an expectation to work onsite.

Our client, a specialist proprietary trading firm headquartered in Amsterdam, is hiring an experienced options market-maker or prop trader to support its continued growth.

The firm trades U.S. equity options, crypto options and Delta One, combining strong technology with trader-led strategies. This is an opportunity for a seasoned trader to take full ownership of a trading book, develop and refine strategies, and have a direct, visible impact on the firm’s results.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for managing your own book and identifying opportunities across volatility trading and market making.

The role offers significant autonomy, with experienced traders encouraged to develop new ideas, build strategies and take ownership from initial concept through to implementation. You’ll work closely with other traders and the wider team, using market data and quantitative analysis to make informed trading decisions.

This is a hands‑on trading environment where initiative, commercial thinking and a strong understanding of markets are highly valued.
