Job summary

Chane, a storage, transshipment and logistics provider for liquid bulk products, invites applications for an Operator at the CTWE terminal in Rotterdam. You will work in a full continuous shift schedule and be responsible for the safe and efficient execution of daily operational activities alongside your colleagues.

You will perform loading, unloading and storage tasks, monitor processes, carry out inspections and safety rounds, and collaborate with supervisors and external parties.

Qualifications

• MBO level working and thinking required.
• Experience as Operator in process industry preferred but not required.
• Dutch language required; English is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform loading, unloading and storage of products.
• Monitor processes and identify deviations or malfunctions.
• Carry out inspections, checks and safety rounds across the terminal.
• Work closely with colleagues, supervisors and external parties.
• Contribute to a safe, clean and well-organised working environment.

For our CTWE terminal, we are looking for Operators to work in a full continuous shift schedule. Whether you already have experience within the process industry or have recently graduated, Chane offers you the opportunity to further develop yourself. Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient execution of daily operational activities.

Where will you be working?

Chane provides storage, transshipment and logistics services for liquid bulk products from multiple terminals in the Port of Rotterdam.

At our CTWE terminal, you will work with various liquid bulk products. We handle the loading and unloading of products via seagoing vessels, barges and tank trucks. You will be working in a dynamic industrial environment where safety, quality and teamwork are key.

What will you do at Chane?

As an Operator, you and your colleagues will ensure the safe and efficient execution of daily operational activities. You will work in accordance with procedures and work instructions and closely monitor operational processes.

In addition, you will:

• Perform operational activities related to the loading, unloading and storage of products;

What knowledge and experience do you bring?

• MBO working and thinking level;
• Experience as an Operator within the process industry, tank storage or a similar environment is preferred, but not required;
• Good command of the Dutch language; proficiency in English is considered an advantage;
• A strong safety mindset and sense of responsibility;
• You work accurately and in accordance with procedures and work instructions;
• You are independent, flexible and solution-oriented;
• You enjoy working as part of a team and communicate clearly with colleagues;
• You are willing to work in a full continuous shift schedule.
