Job summary

O My Bag in Amsterdam is seeking an Operations Lead to be the glue between people, priorities and processes. You will own the operational backbone from factory to customer, ensuring stock data, systems and reporting are reliable while keeping logistics costs under control.

This role covers logistics, data, IT and store operations with a hands-on, structured approach. You’ll lead a small operations team, drive dashboards with Looker Studio, and collaborate with an external finance expert to

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in operations, supply chain or business operations.
You can read a P&L, build a model in Sheets, and notice when a figure is wrong.
Tech-savvy and curious about systems. Shopify, Exact, an ERP and a dashboard tool do not scare you, and you enjoy understanding how they connect.
Experience with international trade and Retail Operations.
Hands-on and structured. You solve today’s problem, then make sure it does not come back next month.
You take ownership across a broad role in a small team, including renegotiating contracts.
A clear communicator across different cultures.
Fluent in English. Dutch is a big plus.
Based within commuting distance of Amsterdam and happy to be working from the office.
Available 32-40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

Own our operational tech stack: Shopify, Exact, the connections between them, and payments.
Oversee operations across logistics, customer service, IT, and office management.
Fix or flag what breaks: order errors, failed syncs, pricing set-ups and stock data.
Further develop our dashboards and make sure the team uses them.
Drive the smart use of AI across the teams and look for automation opportunities.
Support our Amsterdam stores on Store Operations: stock-flows, Shopify-usage, payments and returns.
Be the technical sparring partner for wholesale, marketing and retail teams when something in the system does not work as intended.
Lead key operational projects (ERP transfer, repairs and returns data, second chances process).
Oversee relationships with logistics & warehouse partners; support market access and VAT setups.
