Job summary

ZARA in the Netherlands is seeking an Operations Manager to own the store's operational flow, ensuring efficient stockroom to shop floor movement. You will work with the Store Manager and Area Operations Manager to optimize stockroom activities, replenishment, and delivery processes while driving productivity and profitability.

You will lead an operations team, manage schedules, and ensure resources are used effectively, while upholding Health & Safety, security procedures, and sustainability

A store’s success starts with our people.

As an Operation Manager, you take ownership of the operational flow of the store, ensuring that product moves efficiently from stockroom to shop floor. Working closely with the Store Manager and Area Operations Manager, you oversee daily stockroom activities and ensure that processes, people, and systems are aligned to support overall store performance.

You combine structure with a results-driven mindset. You monitor stock levels, replenishment, and delivery processes, taking action to improve efficiency and always ensure product availability. From managing returns to the warehouse to optimizing online order handling, you make decisions that directly impact productivity and profitability.

You lead the operations team with a hands-on approach. Together with the Deputy Operations Manager, you organize, support, and develop the team, setting clear expectations, managing schedules, and ensuring resources are used effectively. You also identify potential within your team, contributing to development plans and building a strong succession pipeline.

You stay closely connected to the wider store operation, collaborating with Store and Department Managers to ensure alignment between stockroom activity and shop floor needs. At the same time, you take ownership of operational standards, supporting security procedures to minimize stock loss, maintaining store devices, and ensuring all Health & Safety practices are followed.

You play an active role in shaping a positive and responsible working environment, embedding Diversity & Inclusion in everyday actions and supporting the company’s sustainability commitments through efficient and mindful operations.
