Job summary

Motopp is seeking a Junior HR Advisor to grow in the HR field and contribute to day-to-day HR operations at a dynamic, growth-minded company in Amsterdam. You will support and advise on daily HR matters, ensuring smooth processes and strong support for employees and managers.

Key responsibilities include drafting contracts, handling absence management, onboarding, and policy optimization, while collaborating with Recruitment and Finance to deliver practical HR solutions.

Qualifications

• A completed HBO (Bachelor's) degree in HRM or a similar field.
• Several years of experience in HR (e.g., as HR Officer or Recruiter).
• Basic knowledge of employment law and HR processes, with willingness to develop this knowledge.
• A proactive and results-driven mindset; accuracy and strong communication skills.
• Good command of the English language; full-time availability (40 hours) or at least 32 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Contract management and personnel administration: draft employment contracts, process personnel changes, and ensure accurate HR records.
• Absence management: monitor absence cases, stay in touch with employees, support managers with compliance.
• Onboarding, internal mobility, and offboarding: handle practical matters for new hires, role changes, and departures.
• HR processes and policies: help optimize HR policies and ensure clarity and applicability.
• Provide managers with practical HR advice within company policy and applicable laws.
