Maersk is seeking an Operational Excellence Senior Specialist to lead deployment of The Maersk Way across Customs operations in the NEC Area and drive continuous improvement.

You will collaborate with Operations, Product, Digital, and Area leadership to build high-performing teams, deliver scalable solutions, and create lasting business impact in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Customs operations or Customs management within logistics or supply chain.
• Strong background in Operational Excellence, Lean, or Continuous Improvement (A3, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Daily Management).
• Proven track record of delivering measurable business improvements through cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead the deployment and continuous improvement of The Maersk Way (TMW) across Customs operations.
• Drive performance through Lean methodologies, structured problem-solving, Kaizen workshops, and data-driven decision making.

What you’ll bring

• A proven track record of delivering measurable business improvements through cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience leading change and influencing stakeholders across matrix organizations.
• Strong facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder management skills, with a pragmatic, hands-on approach.
• Experience with structured project management methodologies (such as PMI or PRINCE2) is an advantage.
