Job summary

Netherlands eScience Center seeks a Community Manager for the Research Software Directory (0.8–1.0 FTE). You will build and engage a growing international RSD community, organize events, gather user feedback, and collaborate with project partners and developers to ensure the platform meets community needs.

You will work in an international, English-speaking environment and contribute to training material development, governance, and sustainability plans for open science software.

Qualifications

• Formal background in community management or related field.
• Experience engaging diverse stakeholders and building networks.
• Experience organizing events and community activities.

Responsibilities

• Build and strengthen the RSD community in NL and internationally.
• Organize events, trainings, and community activities.
• Translate user feedback into actionable insights for the development team.
• Collaborate with partners, users, and developers across organizations.
• Develop community strategy and long-term sustainability plans.
