Job summary

The Netherlands eScience Center is seeking an experienced software developer to contribute to the Research Software Directory (RSD) and support its growing international community. You will extend the RSD with new capabilities, collaborate with partners across borders, and help promote open science by delivering reliable, well-documented software and scalable integrations with external services.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of relevant work experience in software development.
• Experience maintaining a software project and collaborating with users and developers.
• Ability to work in an international, English-speaking environment.
• Experience with APIs (REST/GraphQL) and open science tooling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and extend the Research Software Directory (RSD).
• Collaborate with international partners to translate objectives into deliverables.
• Design and implement new features and improve content curation workflows.
• Support training materials and community events around the RSD.
