Job summary

Alphatron Marine BV is seeking a Service Engineer Maritime to maintain and repair navigation and communication systems on ships. You will travel to vessels, perform maintenance, troubleshoot faults, and commission equipment, with training provided initially and opportunities to work abroad for short periods.

Skills in electrical engineering, a practical mindset, and willingness to develop are essential. A company car is provided, and retirement/pension arrangements are part of the package.

Qualifications

• Completed MBO course in electrical engineering, level 3/4.
• VCA diploma (or willingness to obtain).
• Initiative and customer oriented.
• Clear communication in Dutch and English.
• Flexible and willing to travel and work outside office hours.
• Living near Rotterdam, Middelburg or IJmuiden.
• Driving license B.
• Authorized to work in the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on navigation/communication equipment on ships.
• Troubleshooting and commissioning of equipment on board.
• Travel to customer locations in your company car; some work in the workshop.
