Job summary

JLG, an Oshkosh company, is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to join the Computer Services team. You will address end-user IT issues across desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers and conference equipment in office and manufacturing settings.

The role requires 3+ years in desktop support, knowledge of networking, and the ability to work on-site in Hoofddorp. You will install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software, collaborate with vendors, and participate in assigned

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience in desktop support or service desk.
• Knowledge of networking protocols.
• Knowledge of computer hardware.
• Ability to install, maintain and troubleshoot computer hardware and software.
• Ability to travel for projects, maintenance, and site survey support.
• This job will be 100% on-site in Hoofddorp, The Netherlands.

Responsibilities

• Resolve moderately complex end-user problems with PCs, printers, thin clients, mobiles.
• Procure, configure, and test computer hardware and software to fulfill requests.
• Provide timely resolution of problems or escalations for end users.
• Provide case status updates to management and end users.
• Interact with third party service providers to resolve issues.
• Evaluate requests for new software solutions.
• Monitor and provide recommendations for diagnostics and support tooling.
• Take part in projects including after-hours work and travel.
• Work independently and adapt to fluctuating workflow.
