Job summary

Hemkade in Zaandam offers an internship to gain experience behind the scenes of events, production, and marketing. You’ll split time between operational tasks for events and creative projects in marketing and content.

You’ll join a small, close-knit team and contribute ideas, with opportunities to learn about event management, branding, and social media. The role is site-based and requires flexibility for events.

Qualifications

• Currently studying Event Management, Marketing/Media, Communications, Hospitality or related MBO/HBO education.
• Available February–June 2027.
• Available 4–5 days per week.
• Fluent in Dutch and English (spoken and written).
• Driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support preparation and production of events.
• Assist during production build-up and breakdown.
• Support operational and hospitality tasks during events.
• Maintain contact with suppliers and activations.
• Support social media, content and marketing projects.
• Edit TikToks, Reels and short videos.
• Organize deliverables from the media team.
• Answer FAQs and visitor questions.
• Assist lost & found and general visitor service.
• Manage stock and post-event inventory counts.
• Brainstorm new concepts, events and campaigns.
