Job summary

John Sisk & Son Ltd is seeking a Senior Contracts Manager to lead on-site delivery, ensuring quality, safety, and financial performance across civil engineering projects. You will coordinate contract elements, manage the supply chain, and drive value while upholding Sisk's HSEQS standards.

The role requires 5+ years' civil engineering project management experience, Chartered preference, and strong leadership with stakeholder engagement and commercial awareness.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in civil engineering project management and delivery of multiple projects.
• Strong knowledge of NEC3/JCT Design & Build forms of contract and sustainability standards (e.g., BREEAM/LEED/CEEQUAL).
• Proven leadership, people management and effective stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction activities including programme development and contract submissions.
• Oversee construction & delivery, including HSEQS compliance and project supervision.
• Manage subcontractor selection, performance, and commercial reporting.
• Drive close-out, defect management and final accounts with the QS.
• Ensure continuous improvement and lessons learned are embedded in future delivery.
