Job summary

Sisk is seeking a Senior Contracts Manager to lead on-site delivery of engineering projects, ensuring quality, safety and financial performance while meeting client expectations. You will coordinate all contract aspects, manage the project team and supply chain, and drive continuous improvement across preconstruction, delivery and close-out.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in civil engineering project management.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and construction methods.
• Experience with NEC3 and JCT Design & Build forms of contract; sustainability standards (BREEAM/LEED/CEEQUAL).
• Strong leadership, people management and conflict resolution abilities.
• Analytical, methodical approach with strong commercial awareness.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation of project programmes, method statements and contract submissions.
• Manage the contract programme and collaborate with Estimating during tender stage.
• Instruct the QS on major preliminary expenditure and oversee site start-up activities.
• Chair start-up and production meetings; support resource allocation with the Regional Director.
• Lead project team functions including PEP, risk management, HSEQS compliance and close-out.
• Coordinate design delivery, including BIM where applicable; ensure Project Execution Plan adherence.
• Oversee subcontractor selection, progress meetings and performance monitoring.
• Lead defect management, final accounts, commissioning, handover and lessons learned.
