Job summary

ASML is seeking a First Line Support Engineer for the Motion Factory in Veldhoven, NL. You will work on the production floor, resolving technical disturbances, performing inspections, and driving continuous improvement to support ASML’s semiconductor manufacturing technology.

The role is full-time (40 hours/week) with a day-shift schedule (07:30-16:00) and a salary range of 58,900 to 73,500 EUR per year, including vacation allowance and a 13th month. International collaboration is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, applied physics, aerospace).
• Experience in a technical support production environment (2–5 years).
• Experience troubleshooting complex technical issues and performing root cause analysis.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement and quality management methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Investigate technical production issues by working directly with products, tools, and manufacturing equipment.
• Perform hands-on inspections and tests, such as leak testing and defect analysis.
• Diagnose product and process deviations, determine root causes, and support corrective actions.
• Work closely with operators to restore production flow while maintaining quality and safety standards.
• Lead and coordinate escalations for complex technical challenges requiring cross-functional support.
• Coach colleagues in troubleshooting techniques and structured problem solving.
• Identify recurring issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
